I am using Home Money Manager for over 10 years (lost track really) Its an easy to use program and help me keep track of my accounts.

Do I have to sacrifice all fun things (or “discretionary spending” as the pros call it) to succeed?
No - One of the three main MoneyFormula buckets is called “Fun Spending” and it is there so that you keep spending on fun things.
This is similar to the Barefoot Investor "Smile" account that has a small amount you can blow each month on anything you want.

Does MoneyFormula start by sucking in all my bank details, categorising all my transactions, and ... just give me lots of numbers?
No - Money and finances are as much about habits and personalities as they are about numbers, so unless you know what you are trying to fix, simply throwing lots of numbers at it probably won't help.
MoneyFormula will help you quickly work out what you want and what you have to do to achieve it, and as you progress on your path to success the tools will provide you with all the number crunching and real-time answers you need.
