I am following Barefoot Investor, can I keep using the Barefoot Investor approach with the MoneyFormula app?
Yes - You can use the MoneyFormula app to track your Barefoot Investor progress.
For full details on how to set up your buckets (Blow, Mojo and Grow) in MoneyFormula take a look at the Barefoot Investor article series starting with
PART 1 - Setting Up Your Buckets and Accounts.
MoneyFormula uses money flows and buckets, which you can customise and rename to track your Barefoot buckets. In particular, you can rename "Wealth Goals" to "Fire Extinguisher", "Rewards Savings" to "Smile" and "Fun Spending" to "Splurge".
The Plan My Wealth Goals section will provide you with the steps you need for your Fire Extinguisher and the bad debt crusher provides you with the smallest balance first strategy which will show you when your debts will be paid out.
The Track My Progress target money flows and buckets of 20%, 10% and 10% are similar to the barefoot bucket amounts, however MoneyFormula doesn't expect you to start on these percentages; so you have more flexibility implementing your buckets.

YES - The MoneyFormula app is
designed to work on all modern devices (mobile, tablet, laptop and desktop) and is available as a
mobile app from the app stores or through your
web browser on any device.
You get the same full version no matter what device you use, or whether you use the native apps or the web browser version; so apart from a couple of slight layout changes (menu bottom or side, etc.) everything will automatically scale depending on your screen size.
This is great because
you don't have to use a "web" version for some things and the "mobile" version for others; the same app means
you can do everything from any device.
You can also
access your data 24/7 from multiple devices as you move throughout your day (e.g. laptop at home, mobile while out and about, desktop at work, tablet at home, etc.) and the app will share the same data between all your devices so

No - MoneyFormula is about working with what you have and is not about refinancing your debt. You only need a valid email address to start (and not 100 points of ID).
